McDonald’s signs onto ‘gay’ agenda

Richard Ellis, vice president of communications of McDonald’s USA said:
“I’m thrilled to join the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce team and ready to get to work. I share the NGLCC’s passion for business growth and development within the LGBT community and I look forward to playing a role in moving these important initiatives forward.”
As I read through the headlines I see youth baseball coaches arrested for indecent contact with a minor, senators being forced out of office for homosexual acts, and major national religious figures defamed (rightly so) as a result of homosexual prostitution solicitation. What about now? A very prominent “kid-friendly” restaurant chain has now decided it will help push the especially deviant form of adultery called homosexuality.
America has a schizonprenic problem. It cannot condone homosexuality but it must promote it. America cannot stand for other people to cause harm to children but will allow a major seducer of children to promote the very thing America cannot openly commend. The irony is awful. Bad has become good.
I cannot and will not allow my family to frequent these establishments.
For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions… and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice…haters of God… inventors of evil…foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know God’s decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.

Seriously, the gay agenda is so fierce in the world of “pop”. They want us to allow our children to grow up thinking that homosexuality it just “another alternative” to the wicked oppressive world of mandatory hetero-sex. How dare we let even our own biology dictate anything to us we are “free” and “free willed” It is the very thing that drives all sin, the need to be free from God and any obligation to Him or in any 100% endorsement of His Glory we always want to take a little credit, so wicked are we that .000000000000000000000000000001% is all we want but God mustn’t have ALL the glory should He. You bet He should and both has and will have, from us and all creation.
can you blame the lost for being lost? seriously. think about it… no wonder why the lost dont want to be welcomed home,Christians too busy proclaiming being confused in blaming the lost for not seeing & hearing… the veil remains on the SBC it appears

Blame the lost for being lost? That’s the effects of sin. Sin causes confusion and makes “the lost” unable to get home.
As for the veil on the SBC…indeed there are many things the SBC is slow on. This issue, however, remains quite clear.

The GAY thing? In the Bible their are over 600 sins. Yes, it says gay is one of them. But how about the other 600 sins? Men cutting their hair and shaving. People eating pork and shell fish. Wearing clothes made with didn’t fabrics at the same time.
Why don’t preachers ever condemn these sins?

You are being lied to and don’t even know it. McDonalds didn’t sign up to the ‘gay agenda’ they joined the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. The NGLCC is a business organiztion representing 42,000 LGBT owned companies who’s ONLY aim is to help overcome obstacles heaped on them as minorities subject to bigotry (much like the National Black Chamber of Commerce). There is no ‘gay agenda’ . They just want to live their lives with respect and dignity like everyone else. You can’t ‘promote homosexuality’! You can promote understanding and acceptance and reject hate. How can you hate people you know nothing about. Is that an example of Christian love?

They are in business to promote business not to promote any sort of ‘Gay Agenda’.

As a preacher then I want to give to you how I address sin in its overarching effect to assist you understand what it is you are trying to say.
…through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned— Romans 5:12
That means ALL sin. And ALL men (mankind).
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23
That includes you and me. Or maybe better understood — ME, too! AND YOU (the reader).
And if sin defines us then…
the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
What gift?
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
And if Christ died for us and indeed is alive again (1 Corinthians 15:1-11) then He will fulfill His purpose (Matthew 1:21) to save His people.
Since His Spirit will inhabit His people (Romans 8:11) confess then…
with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10
Therefore…
“WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.” Romans 10:13
Hubert, John, and anyone else reading this, if Holy Spirit calls on your heart to confess Jesus as your Lord and savior, turn from your sins whatever they be, then I will rejoice in the same love as God my Sovereign has for His children. If you would rather not then I will pray for that to happen sometime with hopeful expectation until the Lord Jesus Christ returns.

I believe that all men are created equal. I know though, that all men are not treated equally. When I read the homophobic comments on most conservative/religious websites it shocks me and saddens me. To attack and demean a group of people who just want to their lives peacefully with someone they care about and love is wrong on so many levels. If you believe that God created all men, then you must also believe that He created some of them gay. Did He make a mistake? Or did He create them like that and then require them to live miserable, unfulfilled and lonely lives? That’s certainly not very nice.
How can you defend people like Wildmon who spread lies about LGBT people? Do you really think that LGBTs recruit our children? Do you believe that there is a hidden ‘Gay Agenda’ bent on some sort of domination? In what way will gay marriage effect ‘traditional’ marriage? Why are conservatives/religious so obsessed with boycotting, repressing and hating the LGBT community, sometimes even to the point of violence or worse? Would you like to be a second class citizen? Please do a little research (outside of the bible) and find out what the homosexual community really is and isn’t about.
Oh, and one more thing, I am NOT gay. I am straight (and I’m even a republican, believe it or not). I simply love my neighbor as we are all commanded to do. What possible business is it of anyone whether someone is gay or straight? Were we also commanded not to judge? We are all in this world together. We don’t all look alike, we don’t all act alike, we don’t all have the same beliefs and we don’t all love alike. Are those good enough reasons to hate?

I want to end by commenting briefly on this part of what you said…

If this is something expected of those who love people enough to see them come out of sin, then can it be expected of those in sin to hold to the same conviction? Why must the love be unilateral by Christians but those who disagree with Christians are allowed to hate Christians? I refer you to my last comment on this post.

According to the reasoning of John, pedophiles just want to “love” (sexually exploit) small children and “live” their lives as they see fit so therefore, by his reasoning, they are also not doing anything wrong and it’s every one doing what’s “right” in their own eyes.
